My Drawing Fun series is where I revisit my foundations — without pretending to already have it all figured out.

Each sheet covers a core concept: form, texture, anatomy, gesture, and more. They're designed to be explorative and educational, because the way you present your learning matters just as much as the learning itself.

As a teacher, I see students struggle with the same foundational gaps that stand between them and mastery. These sheets are for them as much as they are for me.

I'm Sheridan Wood, a Guyanese illustrator, 3D artist, and art educator working under the name RydanArt. My practice spans digital illustration, character design, creature art, 3D visualization and technical modelling.

By day, I'm a high school Art and Technical Drawing teacher, and a private tutor in focusing on CAPE Animation. I've also facilitated animation foundation workshops in 2023 and 2024.

My Drawing Fun series came out of the same philosophy I bring to teaching: that building and documenting your foundations journey, honestly and without pretending you have it all figured out, is just as valuable as the finished work.

My long-term creative ambition is to blend 2D and 3D, bringing illustration aesthetics and 2D animation principles into 3D spaces. Not just working across both disciplines separately, but finding the point where they become one fluid visual language.
